How to Install console-data software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

console-data software package provides keymaps, fonts, charset maps, fallback tables for console-tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install console-data 

console-data is installed in your system.

Make ensure the console-data package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep console-data *

You will get with console-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
